K-6 CAR LINE PROCEDURES
The most important points to remember about dropping off and picking up your child is to be patient, be aware and stay off your cell phone. There is a lot happening during these times of the day. Many staff members are walking through the lanes to assist children. Safety is our utmost priority.
Grades K–1: 8 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Grades 2–4: 8 a.m. – 3:15 p.m.
Grades 5–6: 8 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Please stay off your cell phone.
Be aware of the staff members directing traffic at the Ridgeline entrance, and at the top of the driving lanes.
Do NOT drive into or through the middle lane. It is for pedestrians only.
Your child needs to be ready to exit the vehicle when you stop. Staff members will assist your child in exiting their car.
If you need to get out of the car to help your child, please park your car in a parking spot or out on the street.
You are welcome to park your car and walk your child onto campus. Please cross in the crosswalks. Staff members will tell you when it is safe to cross.
Drop off begins at 7:30 a.m.
Please stay off your cell phone.
Be mindful of your child’s pick-up time. If you arrive too early, you may be sent back around to get back in line for staff to empty the parking lot of lower grade levels.
Display your student’s placard in the windshield for staff members to see.
Fill all three lanes during pick-up.
You are welcome to park on the street and walk up to pick up your child. Please have your placards with you for walk-up pick-up.
Please remain in your car in the pick-up lanes. Staff members will bring your children to you.
If you need to assist your child in buckling their car seat or seat belt, we suggest you park on the street and walk up to pick up your child.
